I've been lucky enough to go the the
Del Mar Fair (San Diego County Fair) twice this year! So much fun! The first time I didn't take my good camera, just my iPhone, so I didn't take many photos. The second time I decided to lug my big camera with me and I'm so glad I did! I had so much fun taking pictures, especially of the carnival lights and the signs advertising bizarre fried foods.

Love them all! This makes me homesick. When I was a kid, Del Mar Fair = Summer... though, we didn't have deep fried koolaid in my day!

Great pics. I would really like to know what effects you are using on your photos .. they look great. Im trying to learn on my new dslr.
Thanks, Nick! I use Adobe Lightroom to process the RAW files from my Canon XSi. Sometimes I play with the settings, other times I use presets that I've downloaded from the internet. If you have Lightroom let me know & I'll direct you to my sources. :)
