Photo Club Trip to Cefalu

Yesterday was our monthly photo club field trip - destination: Cefalu.  Unfortunately Les and I were the only ones who were able to make it but that didn't stop us!  We love Cefalu and are always happy for a reason to visit.  I think I've mentioned it before that Cefalu is my perfect Sicily - what I thought all of Sicily would be like before I moved here.

It was a very warm day so we didn't stay as long as I thought we would.  We wandered for a couple of hours, grabbed some lunch (delicious kebab piadine), and then headed home. Still, it was a fantastic day! Here are a few shots from around Ceflu:

I wish more of the photo club could have joined us for this trip, but Les and I had fun anyway!  It was a great little getaway for the day.

Hi Angela,
I found your blog via your homepage which I found from the photowalkpage.
I see we have 2 things in common. We both love photography and we are both living in Sicily ;o)

I would have loved to come to your photowalk but its too far away for me, it will be too late in the evening (I dont like driving in the dark and I live in Giardini Naxos).

I am talking to a couple of sicilians on flickr, and we might organize something in Catania for the people who lives far away from Ragusa...

Helena, Thank you for visiting my blog! Too bad you won't be able to join us in Ragusa for the Worldwide Photo Walk, but I understand that would be a substantial drive. Hopefully you can start a walk in Catania. I considered doing my walk there but don't know the city that well. I think you'd have a lot of participation. Best of luck!
