I was out in my backyard on Friday inspecting our "little" tree. When Les planted it it was barely two feet tall, now it is taller than the fence and producing beautiful purple flowers. As I was admiring the flowers I noticed a giant, yellow, fuzzy bumblebee hard at work tending to my flowers. I ran upstairs and grabbed my camera and was able to catch a few shots before my battery died. The bee, however, was so intent on his work that he wouldn't hold still long enough for my camera to focus, hence the fact that he is a bit blurry. Even so, I thought I would share the pictures.
