Keys Creek Lavender Farm

Last weekend my hubbie and I took a drive north to Valley Center and the Keys Creek Lavender Farm. What a beautiful place! The farm is open during the blooming season (until July 10, 2011) and there is no entrance fee.  You can wander field after field of Lavender in all shades of purple and watch the bees do their work. The farm also has a store where you can buy all manner of Lavender products and a tea house with treats such as Lavender Lemonade and Lavender Scones (I highly recommend both).

This week's Photo of the Week (hosted by Jessica Rogers Photography) was taken while I was wandering the Lavender fields.

I love the curve of the path and the shades of purple in this field
